Follow us as we put the spotlight on some of the most inspiring sessions our team attended during the Global HR Summit — leaders, visionaries, business owners, and more.

Manu Varma|Kelly Lovell|Bryan Adams |Immersive Organizational Culture

In order to build an inclusive organizational culture, the employer must be open and aware. We now live in a society where there is no longer a one size fits all. We must treat everyone as a unique individual. “True diversity inclusion leads to diversity thinking.” Everyone has different personalities and work styles, therefore everyone seeks different rewards at work. It is important to understand your employees, find their gift and help proper it. Be proactive, have a lasting impact, and make sure your employees feel included. Amazing seminar!

Travis Hahler and Ben Eubanks |We’re Only Human Podcast

I found this particular section very interesting as it was relatable to everyone. Travis and Ben had a conversation about neuroscience and why people act the way they do. Employee productivity can be lacking due to several reasons, yet a common one is sleep. Sleep has a massive effect on our attention span and how long we have energy throughout the day. Many people feel they do not have enough time to get things done, thus they sleep less. However, if they were to get full sleep they would be more focused throughout the day to complete all their tasks. We have to take care of ourselves and energize our mind and body and this will lead to consistent productivity.

Global HR Summit 2020 |Matt Burns |Driving Change Through Connection

The Global HR Summit is setting the tone for how we are going to approach work in the future. The conference is presented in Virtual Reality. Nowadays technology can be the tool that brings everyone together. We can use our skills and knowledge to make changes in the workforce from which we will benefit too. To see change we need to move forwards, not backwards. If people were satisfied with what the past had to offer there would not be a desire for change. We can redesign our future, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and grow.
